Festuca Glauca Blue Fescue Ornamental Grass
Festuca glauca, commonly known as Blue Fescue, is a compact, evergreen ornamental grass prized for its distinctive silvery-blue foliage and neat, rounded shape. Its fine, needle-like leaves form dense, cushion-shaped clumps that add colour, texture and contrast to garden borders throughout the year. In late spring and summer, delicate blue-green flower spikes rise above the foliage, gradually turning golden-brown as they mature. This attractive, low-maintenance grass is ideal for rock gardens, gravel gardens, edging, containers and contemporary planting schemes.
